THE GREAT WAR MAGAZINE ISSUE 62 VC'S WON IN THE WAR

THE GREAT WAR MAGAZINE ISSUE 62 VC'S WON IN THE WAR
The Great war magazine was published during the war years, reporting back news from the frontline and this issue dates to October 1915. The war had already been raging for just over 12 months and this issue dealt with those who had won a bravery award, the highest for gallantry, during the 'early' years.

What an 'interesting' read and for anyone who has an interest in the Victoria cross and those who were awarded one for bravery above and beyond the 'call of duty', then you would find this fascinating. another couple of years and this old mag will be an 'antique' piece of ephemera, getting rarer by the day.
I have seen these 'war' magazines sell for all sorts of prices but cannot give an accurate value for this issue of the great war based on previous completed sales. early issues sell best and condition always will always increase the value as usual. However, as these old mags are getting on to be over 100 years old, they have done well to survive and how many more copies are 'out' there for sale?
Your purchases will be insured up to the sum of £39.00 at no extra cost, its free.
I guarantee that its the genuine thing and if you are not 100% satisfied then I will give you your money back.
The condition of the magazine is not to bad considering, the staples are rusty, small rips and tears, some stains and fading and whole host of 'age' related 'issues'.

Overall, its in a good readable condition and ideal for a collector of war memorabilia, old magazines, ephemera, VC and Victoria Cross collectibles memorabilia, collectors of 'topo' and 'first world war' photos.

On the reverse of this old magazine, an old 1915 'Mappin and Webb' advert promoting 'army' issue gear for the first world war.
